Nguyen Minh Trang,

Ethnomusicologist, lecturer, traditional musical instrument artist 
First Prize in the Vietnam National Zither Competition 
Young Talent by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism 

Nguyen Minh Trang is a scholar of ethnomusicology and a traditional musical instrument artist from Vietnam. She previously won the First Prize in the National Zither Competition in 2008 and was recognized as a Young Artistic Talent by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in the same year. In addition to playing the Zither, she excels in various other traditional musical instruments such as the t’rung, stone lithophone, monochord, 36-string lute, etc. 
In 2023, Minh Trang was honored with an award “Prize of the Swiss-Asia Association for Musical Studies” for a particularly remarkable project linked to the meeting of cultures! 
 
Throughout her artistic career, she has achieved numerous accomplishments and awards, and participated in various international concerts and festivals across more than 20 countries worldwide.  
 
Currently residing and working in Switzerland, Minh Trang is a prominent figure, actively participating in performance activities, teaching, lecturing, and contributing to the development and promotion of Vietnamese traditional music in Europe.
