One of the youngest violin professors at the highest level in France at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon 

Recipient of prestigious international violin awards: the Lipizer, Paganini, and Grand Prix 

Stéphane Tran Ngoc is a classical French-Vietnamese violinist who has toured in over 30 countries worldwide, performing as a soloist with some of Europe's leading orchestras. He is one of the youngest violin teachers at the highest level in France, having taught at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon for many years before moving to teach at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music and being appointed head of department at the Royal Academy of Music in London. 

Stéphane Tran Ngoc has received prestigious international violin awards such as Lipizer, Paganini, and the Grand Prix. His recordings have been published globally, including works like Nigg's sonata for violin and piano (Grand Prix Award in 1996), Ysaye sonatas, Brahms' Horn Trio, and Schumann's sonata for violin and piano (performed with American pianist Brian Ganz). 

He has won prizes at the Aspen Music Festival and the Long-Thibaud International Competition in 1990, where he received the Grand Prix and the Audience Prize. Stéphane Chan Ngoc has performed in renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Weill Hall, Paris’ Salle Gaveau, Salle Pleyel, Champs-Elysées Theatre, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and the National Theatre in Beijing. He has also performed as a soloist with some of Europe's most distinguished orchestras, including the Radio-France Orchestra, Monte-Carlo Orchestra, Paris Chamber Orchestra, Ile-de-France National Orchestra, and the Shinsei Symphony Orchestra in Japan
